Third Book: Julia Blackburn’s Threads

For our third book, we will be reading Julia Blackburn’s Threads: the Delicate Life of John Craske, which tells the story of Blackburn’s research into the strange character of this fisherman-turned-artist. As with our previous readings, this is a really different, and slightly experimental work, so we hope you enjoy reading it!

Blackburn Threads

Lots of us will aim to be online to discuss this book on Twitter Thursday 21st January between 17:30-18:30 (GMT).  We welcome contributions earlier or later on in the day from anyone who can’t make that specific time.

You can follow the discussion under the hashtag #storypast whether or not you have a Twitter account, but you’ll need to be signed in to join in.

We have quite a backlist of books we might get to next, but do chip in if there’s something you’d really like to discuss.
